Volunteers are needed for the 2018 Tour de Lavender! The Sixth Annual Tour de Lavender, scheduled for August 4th, is looking for a few–actually A LOT–of good women and men volunteers to help make this year’s tour the best ever.
Over 500 riders are expected to register and ride in the event which has become the premier cycling event for all riders–beginner to expert–on the Olympic Peninsula. The Tour de Lavender (TdL) consists of two separate, but overlapping rides:
- Fun Ride: a 34-mile loop that enables riders to visit eight lavender farms if they do the entire distance or plan their own “itinerary” and make the ride as short as 10 miles.
- Metric Century: a 62.5-mile course, with an additional farm and some challenging hills for the more experienced cyclist. o
An added bonus this year is an After-Ride Celebration Party, with more than $2500 in door prizes!
So we need your help–and signing up as soon as possible allows the event directors to plan more efficiently and keep any individual’s volunteer time commitment manageable.
Join the TdL Team and make the 2018 Tour a great experience for everyone!
